Retention Field brings together pleated filter materials, metal grids, skeletal frames and fungal-like forms into an ambiguous system of filtration and containment. The work considers what happens to matter that is caught rather than carried away, imagining retention not simply as blockage or residue, but as a condition from which new forms of growth might emerge.
